HEALTHCARE CO-ORDINATOR / MANAGER

Location: SPARKHILL, Birmingham

Wage: £19500.00 - £25000.00 Per Annum

Hours: 40 Per Week, 6 Over 7, Shifts to cover 24 Hours

Duration: PERMANENT

Details: Must have NVQ Level 4 in Health Care or a Nursing qualification. Must also have experience in a health and comunity care setting. Must also be a car driver. Duties include managing and supervising a team of staff to undertake an assessment of needs of service users, to ensure a user centred service.

 

Additional Information: Also carry out investigations in relation to complaints procedure in line with the national minimum standards. Writing reports and maintaining accurate records and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of legislation. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. Employee will meet disclosure expense.

 

Team Leaders

Location: Birmingham & West Midlands

Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week

Specialism: Adult / General, LD, PD and Mental Health

Job Purpose

Full time Senior Home Care Worker (pending necessary checks). Applicants must be qualified to NVQ level 3 and have a minimum of one year experience.

Applicant must hold a full, clean UK Driving Licence with their own transport. Needs to be numerate and literate as this job is part office based and part field based.

Key function of this role is able to deliver a very high standard of care of clients in their own home, from initial assessment to drawing up Care Plans, implementations and ensuring continuity of quality care. Weekend and unsociable hours arepart of working week, with ocassional emergency cover and On-call on rota basis.

Supervise, monitor staff development and train new staff on the job.
Assist with shift allocation, Rota duties; liaise with Deputy manager and other senior care staff. Liaise with external agencies and workers such as; Social Workers, Nurses, GPs and other formal and informal health visitors.

Field Supervisor

Location: Office bases in Sandwell + Birmingham working in the homes of service Users.

Contracted Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Reporting to: The Care Manager or other designated Team Leader.

Job Purpose

To supervise and carry day to day responsibilities for a number of Health Care staff providing care to Service Users'. To undertake assessments and carry out Spot Checks, participate in the allocation of work to staff and provide a range of personal care, social and practical care tasks to Service Users'.

 

Health Care Assistant

Location: Sandwell, Westmidlands and Sparkhill, Birmingham

Reporting to: The Care Manager or other designated Team Leader

Job Purpose

To provide a range of care and support, of a personal, social, emotional and practical nature to one or more service users' on a regular and agreed basis. Part of the purpose is to maintain a continuing awareness of the changing needs of service users', whilst enabling both them and their carers to exercise control over their own lives by prioritising their independence.

The Health Care Worker will be directly accountable for the safe completion of delegated tasks and duties. Taking on a compassionate and caring role to meet the respective needs of the service users and their families; the carer must be of good integrity, honest and trustworthy and have the ability to follow a work rota and ensure that all calls to service users are carried out during the timescale allocated by the Company.

He/she must never undertake Nursing procedures for which he/she is neither trained nor qualified to perform.
