Care People Care Services
We offer a range of services geared to meeting the specific needs of
people in their own homes. All our services are marked by the following
principles which we know are important to you as you consider letting
care staff into your home:

our staff to ensure they are trustworthy; we train them thoroughly and
regularly; and we have a system for constantly monitoring the work they
do
- · Quality - we operate to the highest industry standards of care.
Our skilled staff regularly update their training to ensure we provide
your services to the standard and quality you rightly expect
- · Dependability - we have stringent standards for ensuring we
deliver what we say we will at the time we promise it
- · Appropriateness - we gear all our services to your individual
needs and expectations; we do not expect you to have to fit into a standard
package. We therefore assess your needs very carefully and devise care
which will be appropriate
- · Upholding your Rights and Dignity - we are here to serve you
so we have systems in place to ensure that, however dependent you may
be on our services, you will always remain in charge and your rights
will be fully protected
- · Promotion of Independence - our aim is to provide care which
enables you to retain the maximum amount of independence in your life
Because we always aim to work with you as an individual the potential
range of services we offer is extensive. In particular we can offer:
- · Assistance with personal care and hygiene · Assistance with dressing
and preparing for bed · Preparation of meals
- · Domestic support around the home (see Domestic Services)
- · Assistance with medication and monitoring self-administration
- · Night sitting
- · 24 hour care
- · Supported living-in service
- · Local help such as shopping, post office visits, etc · Accompaniment
on outings or visits to Day Care centres, Training centres or other
socialisation activities
- · Assistance with management of finances and maintaining records
- · Helping you to liaise with other agencies (e.g. social services, benefits, utilities,
etc)
The care services we offer can be either one-off to cover a particular
need at a particular time, or it can be ongoing in nature.
We can agree a contract with you as an individual, either if you are
paying for care yourself or if you receive money to purchase your own
care. Alternatively we undertake contracts for Social Care & Health
or other agencies. We can provide care in a person's own home, in sheltered
accommodation, residential homes or hospitals.

- · All our staff are fully checked and vetted as part of the recruitment
procedures.
- · They all undergo a thorough training even if they come to us with
experience in other agencies, and they are regularly supervised by senior
managers
- · We consistently monitor our services checking on satisfaction with
every service user and, if appropriate, their relatives
- · We undertake a thorough risk assessment before commencing a service
and at regular intervals thereafter to ensure we are keeping up with
any changing circumstances
- · You always have a point of phone contact with a senior manager if
you are unhappy or unsure about anything
- · If anything does go wrong, or is not to your satisfaction, we have
a clear complaints procedure to sort things out
